Three years ago today I was in the hospital holding my baby boy in my arms for the first time. What a precious thing it was! I grew up with all sisters so having a little boy to take of was a very foreign idea. I was so excited to see what he would be like and how exciting it has been. Today he made his daddy so happy by having a Star Wars birthday party! Boy, was it fun! We went all out as you will see through this picture heavy blog post. So, if you weren't at the party than here it is in picture form for you to enjoy vicariously!
First, on his actual birthday we had a small breakfast birthday party for Elijah with his Nana and Papa!
Then his Star Wars Birthday party the next day, Friday!
Yes, that's right Darth Vader came all the way from the Death Star to help Elijah celebrate his birthday! (ok it might just be daddy but how fun?!!)
Our friends over at ScrumDiddilyUmptious Donuts love Elijah and made him his birthday cake this year. Every time we drive by the donut shop he asks for a donut! So, yes this is a very large chocolate maple bar donut!
After eating a bunch of donuts the kids went upstairs to the loft, that was being guarded by Darth Vader, to find mini Death Stars. Once they each found a Death Star they turned them in for a Star Wars cup (or a TinkerBell cup if they were a little girl).

Then it was time to kit the Pinata and collect some candy in their cups.
Brayden came dressed as Anakin Skywalker so he just had to get a pic with his future self!
