About Me

My photo
Hello, my name is Jamie. I am a stay at home mom of two from Coeur d'Alene, ID. I have 2 children, a girl and a boy. We are fortunate to be able to homeschool and this year we began the new adventure of high school. I am blessed to have been married to my soul mate for over 17 years now and look forward to countless more years and memories. My favorite thing to do is to scrapbook and I have been scrapping for over 22 years.I enjoy learning new techniques and discovering that I can never push myself too far. When it comes to scrapbooking I firmly believe that there are no rules except the ones you break!

A Scraptastic Weekend!

Every year I have the privilege of going to a Scrapbook Retreat at the Palouse Divide Lodge with my sister, her friends, and my friend Jennifer. We have an absolute blast doing nothing but scrapbooking, chatting, and eating!

Here we are saying hello!

Here's a view of the entire scrapbooking space.

My Space is organized chaos. And if it looks like I bring my entire scrapbook room - I pretty much do - not much is remaining at home!

This year was interesting! The first day I came it was snowing and apparently didn't stop all night long. I woke up early, around 6:15am and took pictures of outside. They said that we were getting so much snow and expecting more that we needed to back up our cars so that the snow from the roof wouldn't fall on our hoods. Later as the snow did start melting and falling from the roof we could all understand why. It landed with loud thuds and it was continuous for a long time!

We even lost power for almost 6 hours and were scrappin by lights thanks to the generators. What an adventure this year was!

As the sun began to rise you could see how much it was snowing!

Later when it finally stopped snowing and the sun came it out this is what we had to look at - absolutely gorgeous!

All in all it was a fantastic weekend and I was able to finish 50 layouts with 2 partially finished ones that I brought home to complete. It was a productive and memorable weekend and I'm already on count down till the next time!

Blessings,

October Field Trip Fun

Well, these first two pictures aren't part of the field trip but important all the same. Aunt Amber, Kase, and Koleman came for a visit and that is always a good time. Just had to add these two cute pics that Aunt Amber took.

And now the field trip!!

First up learning about the growing process - yes we are here to have fun but we have to learn in the process - weird I know!

First up on our tour of Siemers Farm is the corn/hedge maze! Can they find their way through???

YES!!! They did it!

Oh no! A couple of Elijah's classmates got caught in the gorilla cage!

Oh NO again! Elijah and Jaedon got trapped in a large spider web! Ewww

Next up is a ride on the train to take a tour of the farm!

We had so much fun we rode it twice!

After the train ride it was time to pedal in the pedal cars!

Yes, we even had to ride the train for tots, we did this several times - dabbing all the way! In fact the train conductor had an absolute ball with these kids!

Love these ladies! Me, Jennifer Scott, and the teacher Mrs. Wilhite!

It's a plaid sort of day!

Well, that's about it but before we go we have to get our pumpkins!

Love this class!

Thanks for stopping by to enjoy our story!

Blessings,
