This weekend was our church's annual family camp. We haven't participated in this event in the past. But, when they decided to have family camp in Lewiston this year we couldn't pass it up. Camp was at the Hells Gate State Park campground. My family decided to rent a cabin. At the same time as family camp the Bells, Thuesons, and friends camped in the same loop as well! So, not only did we have our church family but also my immediate family there. It was a great weekend. Check out the highlights below (caution: picture heavy)
Grace and her Cousin Jaelyn playing on the paddle board.
First night at camp. This is our porch on the front of the cabin.
We made dessert in the Pie Irons. Crescent roll dough filled with Hershey bar, reeses, and mint M&Ms. So good!!!
One of the activities at family camp was a Geocaching lesson. Here is a group of kids led by Nikki Snook looking for the geocache.
Elijah found it!
Then later in the day we had to go cool off at the beach!
We brought our bicycles and went for a bike ride.
Can you see the baby deer that Grace is looking at? Look carefully!
Hanging out with Amber and friends at their campsite.
On Saturday the kids and I hung out with my family and their friends. We went down to a great little beach were it was mostly just us.
Amber and Mark brought this great float toy - it was a hit with the kids!
Elijah loved paddle boarding and got lots of opportunity to try it out!
Grace loved getting warm in the sand.
The kids had a blast building sand forts and castles. Lots of teamwork here!
After a great day at the beach we went back to the church camps for dinner and chapel. Worship was led by Chris Martin and Jeremy gave us a great devotional!

Later in the evening a Hells Gate staff person came by the big fire pit to lead the campers in a campfire sing along. It was great and the kids and adults both enjoyed it immensely!
Later on we hung out by the fire with the Oens and the Kipps!
Back up to Thursday before all the camping even started, Nana and Papa had the grandkids at the beach all afternoon. Take a quick look at their fun!

It was an amazing weekend to be sure! We had such an awesome time with all our friends and family! What a blessing each and everyone of these amazing people are to us!
Thank you Lord for the amazing beauty of this place and for providing it for us to use and enjoy!
Till next time Blessings from
The Arthurs!
