About Me

My photo
Hello, my name is Jamie. I am a stay at home mom of two from Coeur d'Alene, ID. I have 2 children, a girl and a boy. We are fortunate to be able to homeschool and this year we began the new adventure of high school. I am blessed to have been married to my soul mate for over 17 years now and look forward to countless more years and memories. My favorite thing to do is to scrapbook and I have been scrapping for over 22 years.I enjoy learning new techniques and discovering that I can never push myself too far. When it comes to scrapbooking I firmly believe that there are no rules except the ones you break!

A Day Trip in the Forest and the Lake

At the school auction early this spring, we bid on a week at a cabin on the St. Joe River. We ended up going in on the week with another family sitting with us at the table. We won the week and now we are looking forward to a week out in the forest with some friends.
After meeting and getting to know the owner, Mary Jo, we decided that we would go check out the cabin before it's our week to go. That way, no surprises.
We thought we'd be up there for an hour to look around and then come home, but ended up staying the rest of the day. Mary Jo and her family are such wonderful people, and sure to be friends. We had a great day and preview of what to look forward to!

We followed up this amazing day with a trip to the beach the very next day, our first for the summer!

Seeing Some Old Friends

We had a great day visiting with some old friends. Brayden and Ashlyn were in town. Shia was with them so we got to see her too! We miss these kiddos!
We met up at the mall for some ice cream and catching up.

Had some fun playing with a photo app on my phone!

Graduation and Summer Fun Begins

Well, the end of the school year means graduation parties!
We had four graduates to honor this year!

We went to Justyna's grad party. She had this fun photo prop area that the kids enjoyed!

Then I left the next day for Yakima to attend Jordan's graduation party. This was a celebration I wasn't going to miss. I was there when Jordan was born and I've known him his whole life. His mom, Jeri is one of my closest friends. It was an honor to help him celebrate his graduation!

Just had to show our silly side!

Yup, we are out of school, but I am one of those "mean" moms that make them do summer school!
It's good for them! And don't worry, if they sit down and just do it, it only takes about 20 minutes at the most!

Grace got her math grade up thus fulfilling our deal: if she got her math grade up I would take her on a shopping trip where she could try on whatever she wanted and maybe even get a new outfit.

Here's one outfit she bought.

Our first church park day of the summer!

Good friends!

Headed down to Lewiston. Jason is going to golf with some church friends down there, so the kids and I are going to hang out with family!
Gotta add some of the beautiful Idaho pictures of our drive down.
Love driving down the Idaho side!

We are shopping at the Moscow Farmers Market!

The kids each chose a treat and they are taking a break to eat.

Lunch at the just opened Varsity Cafe

Back to Nana and Papa's to swim for a bit!

Happy Father's Day Jason!
Out to lunch at his favorite place, Flamin Joes!

We borrowed a circuit board from the Library, Daddy and Elijah are playing and learning!

Elijah had the opportunity to take a Minecraft Modders Class at the Kids College through North Idaho Collage this summer. He learned a lot!

Grace is going to continue taking her cooking classes through the summer.
Here she is finishing up the churros.

A couple more pics of Elijah at his Minecraft Class.

Well, I'm gonna make a good effort to stay on top of posting here. So, that way hopefully the posts won't be so long. I may take time to go back over the last year and post some things, but we'll see how my motivation is ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Blessings,
