About Me

My photo
Hello, my name is Jamie. I am a stay at home mom of two from Coeur d'Alene, ID. I have 2 children, a girl and a boy. We are fortunate to be able to homeschool and this year we began the new adventure of high school. I am blessed to have been married to my soul mate for over 17 years now and look forward to countless more years and memories. My favorite thing to do is to scrapbook and I have been scrapping for over 22 years.I enjoy learning new techniques and discovering that I can never push myself too far. When it comes to scrapbooking I firmly believe that there are no rules except the ones you break!

A Week in a Cabin

We recently had the opportunity to stay in a friends cabin for a week. We shared the two small cabins with another family and the week was awesome! We had a ton of fun hanging out with the Claridges and playing in the woods. The kids were able to swing on the rope swing over the Creek - even the adults got in on that action! We read a lot - at least a few of us did! We had campfires, smores, and even floated the river. Nana and Papa joined us after the Claridges left and we floated the river all over again! It was an amazing vacation that we will never forget!

The rope swing was a huge hit!

The girls enjoyed playing Barbies down by the creek.

The boys built a mini fort

One of the biggest attractions, and most popular, was the hammock swing/ride/rollercoaster!

Some of us would agree that an even bigger attraction was the reading around the fire!
My personal favorite activity!

We drove into Avery to have some ice cream!

And then played in the river there!

How gorgeous is this?!

Grace locked up Elijah and Lydia

But don't worry, she let them out early for good behavior!

While in Avery, we explored their little train museum

And fed the fish

Nana and Grandpa joined us after the Claridges left.
Nana even tried out the swing!

Grandpa got some good nap time in!

Grace and Elijah loved tending the fire!

It was such a great experience. I think we'll do it again next year!

Till next time,
blessings
